The talent and creativity of generations of businessmen, helped by the steadfast hard work of their workers, has helped to make Varese a genuine "business crossroad" which exports 35% of its production. It also has the added bonus of Malpensa, the most important airport in central Southern Europe.
Today Varese has 240 goldsmith companies of which 140 are manufacturers; they are primarily located around Gallarate and have set up a Service Centre to maximise their high-quality products' potential.
Varese Orafi provides a support structure for a production which has exceptionally skilled craftsmen and represents an important presence both at local and national level as well as abroad. The project aims to promote and maximize all sectors regarding the production and working of precious metals in the province of Varese in order to assure them economic, professional and cultural growth by means of a process of company aggregation and the sharing of objectives and strategies.
